Super Heroes are the Best!

Cooper and Tanner love to play Super Heroes. They got all dressed up and went outside to "fight the bad guys". I am so glad I have these BIG, STRONG boys! Showing off their muscles.

California here I come...

Kevin surprised me and is flying me out to San Francisco to stay with him next week. I am so excited. I am hoping for a very nice and relaxing couple of days. I will let you know how it goes.

WAY TO GO TANNER!

Tanner scored his first goal ever tonight! He did awesome. It was freezing outside and we almost didn't go. Grandpa, Tanner and I went to game anyway. There were only four kids on his team at the game, so Tanner had to play the whole game. He was doing such a great job. When the other team had the ball he would run and block the goal. He actually kept the other team from scoring a couple times. Anyway, he was running the ball down and there was a big kid on the other team running with him. I thought for sure that Tanner would just give up to stay away from the other player. He was very persistant and ran it down and scored. I was screaming my guts out. I could not believe he finally scored. He has wanted to score a goal all year. Anyway, he ended up scoring twice, and they were the only two goals that his team got. I was so proud of Tanner. Way to go Tanner!

Spring Soccer

Tanner started his spring season of soccer tonight. His team is the Red Rockets. Tanner loves soccer this year. He is trying so hard to score a goal. He plays Tuesday at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 9:30 am. He will be playing all through April. I am so glad that the weather is nice so he doesn't have to run around to stay warm. My soccer star.

Happy Easter

What a fun Easter! The kids were so excited for the Easter Bunny to come it seemed like Santa was going to deliver their Easter baskets, which the kids loved. Kenzie was so excited to wear her beautiful Easter dress and we made sure the boys were wearing adequate "Spring"colored shirts. After a hyper day at church and a moderately successful attempt at quiet time (curse the candy industry) we went to my parents for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. The kids had so much fun finding eggs and playing with their cousins. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! I made the kids' Easter baskets this year.

Sick of being sick!

We are so tired of being sick at our house! Kevin started throwing up on Tuesday morning. Wednesday Cooper and I woke up with a fever, cough, headache, and sore throat. In due time we decided the throwing up thing would be fun, so we picked up on it. Kevin quarantined us to my room so we could "control" who was sick. Not so much. Tanner came down with a fever on Thursday and we are hoping that Kenzie doesn't get it. Every time that we think Cooper is getting better, he throws up randomly. Enough is enough!Mommy please let us play.

Coming home with a cat.

Kenzie came home from piano lessons with a cat today. She was so excited. She was walking home from piano and someone in the ward had a cat. She gave them a quarter (she gave it to them and then they gave it back) and she came home with a cat. She told me that she bought a kitty on the way home from piano. She said she would take care of it, and it could sleep in her room. She showed me the "kitty" which was actually a cat. Daddy got involved since I wasn't feeling well. He talked to Kenzie about the cat. She was in tears and so sad that she brought the cat home. Daddy and Kenzie talked and agreed to take the cat back. They took the cat back to its owner and discussed getting a kitty in the future. Kenzie was a good sport and ended up happy.
